Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a television signal processing method for picture in picture display for considerably reducing overhead that CPU requires by using a video signal controller with a digital computer and controlling a video signal being the output of the digital computer and a raster scan-type video signal so that they are most suitably displayed on a monitor. CONSTITUTION: The video signal controller 10 is used with the duplex synchronous monitor 16 of the digital computer 12. The video signal controller contains a tuner 18 for generating a former television signal. The signals from the tuner and the computer are given to a multiplexer 24 and are switched between them. Output signals are given to the duplex synchronous monitor. The controller has three operation modes.
