Abstract:
To improve quality of three dimensional noise reduction.SOLUTION: A noise extraction part extracts a noise component from a frame differential signal between a current frame image and a previous frame image. A noise removal part removes a red component noise extraction signal, a green component noise extraction signal, and a blue component noise extraction signal, which have been multiplied by a cyclic coefficient, from a red component signal, green component signal, and blue component signal, respectively, of the current frame image. A correction part corrects the level of the red component noise extraction signal to make it closer to the level of the green component noise extraction signal when an absolute value of the difference between the level of the red component noise extraction signal and the green component extraction signal is a first threshold value or more. The correction part corrects the level of the blue component noise extraction signal to make it closer to the level of the green component noise extraction signal when an absolute value of the difference between the level of the blue component noise extraction signal and the green component extraction signal is a second threshold value or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
