Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate folded components and to output a color signal free from a picture element deviation by forming the picture element deviation by each color signal R, G and B without picture element deviation when a luminance signal is prepared.
CONSTITUTION: The color signals R, G and B outputted from a solid-state image pickup element for each color are supplied to a picture element deviation correction part 41, and color signals R', G' and B' where the picture element deviation between each color signal R, B and G is corrected are prepared. These color signals R', G' and B' are supplied to a folded component detection part 42. A folded component signal H is detected and the color signals are also supplied to a folded component elimination part 43. The folded component signal H detected in the folded component detection part 42 is supplied to this folded component elimination part and folded components are eliminated. Thus, the picture element deviation is corrected and color signals R0, G0 and B0 where folded components are eliminated are obtained.
