Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent blurring accompanied with noise and the lack of a synchro nizing signal on a reproduction display screen by using a movable magnetic head of which position can be controlled when a tape is reproduced at a differ ence speed from that when it is recorded. CONSTITUTION:The movable magnetic heads 20 and 21 of which position can be controlled are provided on a rotating cylinder 1. When the speed of the magnetic tape 4 is the same as that at the recording time, signals reproduced by fixed heads 2a, 3a, 2b and 3b are demodulated and the position of the mov able magnetic heads 20 and 21 are controlled in the width direction of the oblique track of the magnetic tape 4 when the speed of the magnetic tape 4 is different from that at the recording time. Besides, when the amplitude level of the reproduction signal by the movable magnetic heads 20 and 21 is bigger than a value previously set and a vertical synchronizing signal contained in the reproduction signal appears in a prescribed time near a head switching point, the reproduction signals by the movable magnetic heads 20 and 21 are demodulated. Thus the occurrence of noise can be controlled and a reproduced picture which the content of a video signal is agreed can be obtained.
