PURPOSE: To generate the prescribed video signal waveform pattern with a compact circuit configuration, to make the circuit configuration and the high- speed processing part compact, and to realize low power consumption.

CONSTITUTION: A central control circuit 11 generates data of the required video signal waveform pattern. A FIFO memory part 12 buffers the data of the video signal waveform pattern generated by the central control circuit 11 to be sent to a D/A conversion part 13. The D/A conversion part 13 converts the digital data to be supplied into an analog signal. This analog signal is outputted as a video signal through an output terminal 14.
