PURPOSE: To make an operation in the case of synthesization extremely easy and to improve the degree of freedom by storing, controlling a material video for synthesization by the combination of a video signal, a key signal and a control signal, outputting and storing the synthesized output while combining the video signal, the key signal and the control signal as well.
CONSTITUTION: A storage part 3 is equipped with plural information storing means (VTR in this case) 31A, 31B and 31C, two switch circuits 32A and 32B, and selecting circuit 33 to control the switch circuits 32A and 32B. This each VTR can record and reproduce the combination of the video signal, key signal and control signal to a recording tape, and by the switch circuit 32A under the control of the selecting circuit 33, either the combination of the video signal, key signal and control signal from the outside or the combination of an output video signal f0, output key signal k0 and output control signal C0, from a video signal synthesizing circuit 4 is selected, inputted and recorded. On the other hand, the reproducing output of each VTR (the combination of the video signal, key signal and control signal) is outputted to first or second multiplying part 10A or 10B by the switch circuit 32B under the control of the selecting circuit 33.
