Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a field memory, and to improve a picture quality in a specified reproducing time by adding a horizontal transfer register in the constitution of a solid-state image pickup element, and using the solid- state image pickup element as the delay line of an image pickup device and VTR in common. CONSTITUTION:An photoelectric transducer group 1 arranged in an array shape, and the solid-state image pickup element in which plural vertical transfer register 2 constituted with a charge coupled device consisting of plural transfer gates 3-6, 17, and 18, and two horizontal transfer register 9 and 16 are provided are used. And in the recording time of the VTR, the exsisting constituting part of the solid-state image pickup element is used by setting the solid-state image pick-up element as the image pickup device. In the reproducing time of the VTR, the solid-state image pickup element is used as the CCD delay line of one field for the VTR including an added horizontal transfer register 16. Therefore, it is no necessary to provide the delay line at a VTR part.
