Title:
VIEW AIDING BONE-CONDUCTION GLASSES FOR VISUALLY HANDICAPPED PERSON
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015164498
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a visually handicapped person walks while striking a road surface ahead with a white stick to check for an obstacle, but although he or she can check for an obstacle within a range that the white stick can reach, it is difficult to check for an obstacle in a wider range.SOLUTION: Glasses for a visually handicapped person include imaging means capable of measuring a distance from a subject, and bone conduction means, and drive the bone conduction means based on the information on the subject (obstacle) detected by the imaging means. Since a detection result can be transmitted directly to an internal ear of the visually handicapped person through a cranial bone without passing through an external ear, it is not necessary to cover ears.
