Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viewer capable of adjusting the focus according to eye movement of a user allowing the user to properly and comfortably view stereoscopic three-dimensional images.SOLUTION: A viewer 10 includes: a focus variable lens 150; and a lens control section 140 that adjusts the focal distance of the focus variable lens 150, and is capable of adjusting the focus according to eye movement of a user. When a three-dimensional image viewing detection section 200 detects that the user views a three-dimensional image, a focal distance fixing section 300 instructs the lens control section 140 to fix the focal distance of the focus variable lens 140 irrespective of the eye movement of the user.
