Abstract:
To provide a novel vinyl acetal polymer comprising N-vinylamide monomer units, to provide a binder for ink and coating materials which enables them to have low solution viscosity and a high solids content (high pigment content), and to provide a binder for ceramic molding which permits the production of homogeneous, high-strength, and thin ceramic green sheets.
The novel vinyl acetal polymer contains N-vinylamide monomer units in the molecule. The binder for the ink and coating materials comprises the vinyl acetal polymer.
