Abstract:
PURPOSE: The titled emulsion, containing dicyandiamide with a vinyl acetate polymeric emulsion, having a low film-forming temperature, and capable of forming films having improved transparency and adhesive characteristics.
CONSTITUTION: A composition prepared by incorporating a vinyl acetate polymeric emulsion with 0.5W10wt%, preferably 1W6wt%, based on the vinyl acetate polymer, dicyandiamide. A film-forming property improver selected from an organic carboxylic acid and a plasticizer for the vinyl acetate polymer incorporated with the vinyl acetate polymer in an amount of 15wt% or less, preferably 7wt% or less, based on the vinyl acetate polymer, is more effective.
