Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VIPA wavelength dispersion compensator for accurately performing wavelength dispersion compensation even if an aspheric mirror for composing the VIPA wavelength dispersion compensator due to a variation in temperature is expanded or shrunk, or the angle of emitted light from a VIPA assembly due to a variation in temperature varies.
SOLUTION: The error of the amount of wavelength dispersion compensation due to the aspheric mirror corresponding to a temperature that is detected by a temperature sensor is obtained, the amount of wavelength dispersion compensation where the error is corrected is converted to the position of the aspheric mirror, and a mobile stage for mounting the aspheric mirror is moved.
