Abstract:
To provide a virtual image display device that can control the display luminance of an image to be displayed as a virtual image as appropriate.SOLUTION: A virtual image display device that displays an image as a virtual image includes laser light-emitting units 22a, 22b, and 22c, a laser guide unit, a scanning mirror unit 26, a projection lens, a screen, a light-emitting power measuring unit 40, a current measuring unit 38, a microcomputer 30, an FPGA 32, a scanning mirror driver unit 34, a light-emitting driver unit 36, a display luminance correction table reference unit 44, and a display luminance determining unit 46. The current to be applied to the laser light-emitting units 22a, 22b, and 22c is set with reference to one or both of the light-emitting power measured by the light-emitting power measuring unit 40 and the current measured by the current measuring unit 38, and thus, the display luminance is controlled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
