Abstract:
To provide a virtual image display device that, in allowing a wearer to visually recognize one large image by binocular vision, can avoid or prevent the occurrence of an increase in size of the device and a problem in design in making a head-mounting type device in association with display adjustment.SOLUTION: A virtual image display device comprises: a first display device 100A for the right eye; a second display device 100B for the left eye; and an adjustment device that adjusts display positions. The first display device 100A and the second display device 100B guide image light ML in a second direction D2 intersecting with a first direction D1 in which the first display device 100A and the second display device 100B are arranged side by side to display a first video and a second video. The adjustment device adjusts the first video and the second video to provide a superimposed area where the videos are visually recognized in a superimposed manner and an independent area where one of the videos is visually recognized independently of the other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
