Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual LAN control system, capable of using a conventional network as a remote network for virtual LAN control system, without requiring construction of a dedicated remote network.
SOLUTION: When data is transmitted from a terminal TE#1.11, which is connected to a remote network, to a terminal TE#2.12 over a home network, scrambled data is transmitted from the terminal TE#1.11 to LOC#1.23. In the LOC#1.23, the data is descrambled and capsulated and transmitted to LOS#1.14. In the IOS#1.14, the data is deencapsulated and transmitted to the terminal TE#2.12; while for the data from the terminal TE#2.12 to the terminal TE#1.11, the LOS#1.14 captures data destined to the terminal TE#1.11 and the data is transmitted to the terminal TE#1.11 in a procedure reverse to the above procedure.
