This virus inactivating apparatus is provided with connecting tubes 2 and 7 and a pump 19 for recirculating blood to the human body by taking out the blood from the human body and an ultrasonic wave generator 6 for performing ultrasonic vibration or ultrasonic irradiation of intensity with a range of not destroying cells such as red corpuscles, white corpuscles and a blood platelet being cells in the blood on the whole blood flowing in the connecting tube 2. After inactivating the HIV, HBV, HCV, HTLV-1, HTLV-2 or the other retrovirus existing in the whole blood by the ultrasonic vibration or the ultrasonic irradiation by the ultrasonic wave generator 6, the whole blood is recirculated to the human body.
