Abstract:
PURPOSE:To control the rotation of a fan in three steps in accordance to the change of temperature, by making two holes for feeding the viscous fluid from the storage chamber to the operating chamber radially then opening/closing them sequentially. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 15 having two torque transmission faces 16, 21 is provided in an operating chamber 18, where two holes 20, 22 and first path 24 are formed in a partition board 17 placed between said chamber 18 and a storage chamber 19. Said two holes 20, 22 are separated radially and opened/closed by a valve member 27. When the engine is over-cooled in case of the down travel on the slope, the valve member 27 is controlled to the position where the first hole 20 is closed while the second hole 22 is opened thus to reduce the viscous fluid in the operating chamber 18.
