Abstract:

To provide a viscous material coating method capable of stably applying a viscous material by preventing the same from always coming into contact with air, and an apparatus adapted thereto.

A screen mask having an opening corresponding to an object to be coated or the object itself to be coated is brought into contact with the discharge port of a coating unit, and the coating unit and the screen mask or the coating unit and the object to be coated are relatively moved while applying discharge pressure to the viscous material in a storage chamber and the viscous material is applied to the object to be coated while always supplied into the storage chamber in a viscous material supply device under pressure lower than the discharge pressure applied to a discharge pressure adjusting device.
