Abstract:
To provide a vise capable of acquiring a strong sandwiching force despite a small contact area between both jaws 2, 3 and a workpiece 5.
A vice is equipped with a base 1, a fixed jaw 2 integrally molded or fixed to the base and a movable jaw 3 movable on the base, wherein a support edge 27b protruded to the top of the fixed jaw in the direction of the movable jaw and a support edge 37b protruded to the top in the direction of the fixed jaw are provided. A workpiece 5 can be fixed being sandwiched between the two support edges.
