PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visible light-responsive photocatalyst that is superior in hydrophilicity.SOLUTION: The visible light-responsive photocatalyst contains tungsten oxide. The ratio of the peak intensity Y of a terminal W=O group to the peak intensity X of a W-O group in Raman spectrum measurement is 0.15≤Y/X.
