Abstract:

To provide a system for judging that visitation by an IC card holder can surely be justified, and a method thereof.

The visitor management system is constructed by connecting a visitation notifying device to a visitor authentication device through a network. The visitation notifying device uses scheduled visitation data including visitor identification information, information for specifying visiting places and scheduled visitation date and hour information to prepare visitor data including the information for specifying the visiting places and the visitor identification information and notifies a visitor authentication device about the visitor data. The visitor authentication device reads visitor identification information stored in a IC card, collates the read information with the visitor identification information of the received visitor data and authenticate a visitor.
