Title:
VISUAL ACVITY INSPECTION INSTRUMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3490512
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable visual acvity inspection in a short time with an efficient inspection procedure by a method wherein a sight value for a target set at the start of inspection is selected and a program is stored to sequentially change the target presented according to the response of a testee to execute the program based on the selection thereof.
CONSTITUTION: When an inspecting person inputs an automatic measurement start switch 13, a control circuit of a remote controller 10 receives a signal thereof to store the direction of cut of a Landolt's ring presented currently while executing an inspection program of automatic measurement displaying a mark 23 on a liquid crystal display plate 20. The inspecting person asks a testee about the direction of the cut of the Landolt's ring presented currently and inputs the direction given by the responding testee with a switch of direction input switches 14. The control circuit judges the correctness between the direction inputted and the direction of the cut of the Landolt's ring of the target presented. This method can lessen the frequency of measurement in an automatic visual acvity inspection, thereby enabling efficient visual acvity inspection in a short time.
