This visual fatigue recovery support apparatus 1 for vehicles includes state detection means 10, 18 and 20 for detecting the states of the eyes of a driver, an estimation means 74 estimating the fatigue degree of the driver's eyes according to fatigue factors based on the outputs of the state detection means, recovery support means 20 and 30 performing support operations for recovering the visual fatigue of the driver, and an operation control means 76 operating the recovery support means based on the visual fatigue degree for every fatigue factor estimated by the estimation means.
