Abstract:
To provide a vision function examination support device capable of appropriately setting an initial examination condition in a vision function examination according to a subject, and reducing a time required for the vision function examination.SOLUTION: A vision function examination support device includes: an image output unit for outputting an image including a target and a background; an identification determination unit for receiving an identification result on a subject and determining whether or not the subject can identify the target; and a threshold estimation unit for estimating a threshold of target brightness that the subject can identify. The image output unit either increases or decreases the target brightness so that the width of increase and decrease becomes smaller as the number of times of trials increases according to a result of the determination by the identification determination unit while maintaining the background brightness. When a difference between the target brightness determined to be identifiable and the target brightness determined to be not identifiable is a predetermined value or less, the threshold estimation unit estimates a brightness value between them as the threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
