Title:
VISUAL TACTILE SENSATION-SENSITIVE TRANSFER FOIL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05261869
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simultaneously form a visually and tactually soft surface and a highly detailed pattern to plastic by successively laminating a release layer, a pattern layer and an adhesive layer on one surface of a substrate and adding specific spherical fine particles to the release layer.

CONSTITUTION: A transfer foil 5 is used in thermal transfer patterning. In this case, at least, a release layer 2, a pattern layer 3 and an adhesive layer 4 are successively laminated on one surface of a substrate 1 and colorless transparent spherical fine particles composed of a urethane resin or an acrylic resin having a particle size range of 75μm or less and a mean particle size of 10μm or more are added to the release layer 2. The transfer foil 5 thus constituted can simultaneously form a visually and tactually soft surface and a highly detailed pattern to plastic by a thermal transfer method without performing the spray coating of visual tactile sensation-sensitive paint. Therefore, transfer can be achieved rapidly and inexpensively with good quality.
