PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel prodrug of an activated vitamin Dcompound as having one or more beneficial characteristics such as selective inhibition of the enzyme CYP24, hypocalcemia activity, and anti-proliferative activity.SOLUTION: There is provided a compound represented by the following formula. (--- are each independently single bond or double bond; n is 0 to 2; Ris OH, OCalkyl, or the like; Rand Rare each independently H or halo, or together forming=CH; Ris Calkyl alkyl; Rand Rare each independently H, halo, or the like; Ris O, NH, or the like; and Ris Calkyl alkyl, aryl, or the like.).
