Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prolong the life of a CBN grinding wheel with truing interval increased, by increasing the number of grinding times until face roughness reaches an upper limit standard value.
CONSTITUTION: High and middle tenacity CBN abrasive grains 13 and 14, having high tenacity and relatively low tenacity respectively, are mixed, so that the high tenacity CBN abrasive grains 13 may account for 10-80% of whole abrasive grains, and are bound by a vitrified bond 15 to be baked.
