Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound suppression device which can suppress spoken sound of a user to the degree that no other persons can hear.SOLUTION: A sound suppression device 1 includes: a sound detection microphone 9 to be put near the mouth of an utterer for detecting a produced first sound signal; a speech sending microphone 11 for inputting the produced first sound signal; a speaker 7 for outputting a second sound signal to a speech production source; and a signal processing unit 20 for generating the second sound signal for cancelling the first sound signal input from the sound detection microphone 9 according to the frequency characteristics of the first sound signal and outputting the second sound signal to the speaker 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
