To provide a voice interactive device and a voice interactive program having high search efficiency, which can reduce misrecognitions or non-ecognitions of user's utterance.
The voice interactive device includes a voice recognition dictionary 16, having a voice command list made up of a pair of a word which is a voice command and a classification indicative of it, a search key word list made up of a pair of a word which is a search keyword of a database to be retrieved and a classification indicative of i;, and an inapplicable word list made up of a pair of a word which is neither the voice command nor the search keyword, and is not to be retrieved and a classification indicative of it; a voice recognition part 17 for voice-recognizing voice data input by a user and extracting the word and the classification contained in the voice recognition dictionary 16; an interactive control part 18 for generating a response indicating that the extracted word is an inapplicable word, when the classification of the extracted word is the word which is not to be retrieved; and a presentation part 20 for presenting the response generated by the interactive control part 18.
