PURPOSE: To improve the service to the subscribe and to attain accurate operation at the end of job, by providing a job end message transmitting function and a display device representing the busy state.

CONSTITUTION: When a host computer completes the job, a center close instruction is set from the computer through an MODEM MOD and a data register REG. When a CPU recognizes this instruction, the CPU reads out a voice parameter for center close guide stored in a main storage memory MEM to an incoming call from a line afterward, the voice synthesizing is attained at a vocoder VOC to inform the end of job to the subscriber. The communicating state is monitored with a display EL corresponding to the call from the subscriber and when the subscribers make no call, the line is switched to an automatic guide device.
