CONSTITUTION: A fixed language is input and registered in advance into the voice recognition device 24 through the microphone 26. And at first, when for instance, "Turn on the electric power source" is spoken through the microphone 26, it is input to the voice recognition unit 24, this input voice is compared with the voice which has been registered in advance in the device 24, and when it is confirmed that the said voice is a registered voice, a command of turning-on of power supply is sent out to the subpower device 29 from the system control device 25, and the electric power source is supplied to each circuit of a television set. Subsequently, the channel number is said through the microphone 26, and after this voice has been decided as correct by the voice recognition device 24, a channel selection command is provided to the channel selecting circuit 3 from the system control device 25, and the channel selection is executed. These results are informed as voice or picture information.
