In a voice synthesis system 10 which reads aloud the synthetic voice of inputted information while reproducing a BGM(background music), this system is provided with a BGM data processing part 14 becoming a first changing means changing the reproducing conditions of the BGM in accordance with the contents of the information. Reproducing conditions of the BGM are composed of one of the reproducing speed, the kind, the volume, the frequency and a sound field processing of the BGM or combinations of two or more among them. Moreover, contents of the information are composed of one of the length, the significance, the urgency, the degree of newness or old → of the information or combinations of two or more among them.
