Abstract:
To provide a volatile organic compound decomposition accelerator which ensures high safety and can be applied to decontamination treatment objects or to microorganisms by a simple method, and a decontamination treatment method.
Feeding of amino acids to a decontamination treatment object or pretreatment of the microorganisms before their feeding to the decontamination treatment object greatly improves the decomposition efficiency of volatile organic compounds by the microorganisms decomposing the volatile organic compounds. The volatile organic compound decomposition accelerator is mainly composed of the amino acids and/or their salts.
