Abstract:

To provide a voltage balance circuit of a semiconductor switch circuit, which can reduce switching loss and deviation upon switching transient time, can easily suppress voltage unbalance during ON/OFF steady time, is superior in responsiveness of voltage balance control and can correspond to a series connection circuit of a plurality of switching elements.

In resistance voltage dividing circuits RD1 and RD2, voltage dividing resistors having equal resistance values and equal voltage dividing ratios are connected in parallel between emitters and collectors of switching elements S1 and S2, and voltages proportional to a voltage between the emitters and the collectors of the switching elements are detected as load voltages with a series connection point of the switching elements as a neutral point N. Voltage balance control circuits (VD1, VD2, DAMP and VAC) correct a gate current of the switching element S1 on a slave side and balance the load voltages of the switching elements so that a voltage deviation of the respective detection voltages becomes zero.
