Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a voltage controlled oscillation circuit for which neither any external coil nor any external capacitor is necessary and also an automatic frequency adjustment circuit for TV, high in accuracy and low in cost.

CONSTITUTION: A 2nd loop which controls the oscillation amplitude is prepared in addition to a 1st loop which oscillates by the frequency set at the resonance point of a BPF when the limitation of band is applied to the output signals of amplifiers 11A and 11B through the BPF. Then the output of an LPF of a 90° phase is taken out of the 1st loop, and the output of a BPF of a 0° phase is taken out of the 2nd loop respectively. The 1/N division and the 1/(N+1) division which are selected in response to the ratio set between the TV intermediate frequency and the reference frequency are carried out by plural times respectively. Then the average value of both divisions which is approximate to the reference frequency is outputted as the division frequency, and an error signal is outputted in response to the difference between the reference frequency and the phase frequency. Thus the oscillation frequency is controlled at a fixed level for the oscillation circuit of a TV tuner.
