Abstract:
To adjust various kinds of frequency bands without deteriorating a Q-value by the trimming of a microstrip line.
A voltage controlled oscillator includes a resonance circuit connected to the base of a transistor for oscillation. The resonance circuit includes the microstrip line 10 together with a varactor diode. One end of the microstrip line 10 is connected to a control terminal and the other end to a ground electrode via vias 7. In the microstrip line 10, an electrically-conducting path from an input conductor 10b positioned at one end to a ground conductor 10e positioned at the other end has a spiral shape, and the middle of the electrically-conducting path is connected to the ground via a conductor body 10a for coarse adjustment.
