PURPOSE: To reduce an error in AC characteristics depending upon a base common current amplification factor by using Darlington-connected transistors (TR) as a voltage current converting TR and a TR of a current mirror reference current generating circuit.

CONSTITUTION: This voltage and current converter amplifier is equipped with Darlington-connected TRs Q2 and Q8 which are connected at the bases to the 1st input terminal IN1 and at the collectors to the 1st output terminal OUT1, Darlington-connected PNP TRs Q1 and Q7 which are connected at the bases to a terminal IN2 and at the collectors to a terminal OUT2, a resistance RE connected between output emitters of those TRs Q2 and Q8, and Q1 and Q7, and current mirror CM1 and CM2 which are supplied with a reference current Iref through Darlington-connected PNP TRs Q5 and Q6 of the same conduction type with the TRs Q2, Q8, and Q1, and Q7 and Darlington-connected NPN TRs Q3 and Q4 of the conduction type opposite to that of the Darlington-connected PNP TRs Q5 and Q6 and supplies a bias current to the output emitters and output collectors of the TRs Q2 and Q8, and Q1 and Q7. Consequently, errors of the DC bias and AC characteristics due to the base common current amplification factor are reduced to about 0.01%.
