This voltage generation circuit is constituted of a first temperature-voltage conversion circuit for outputting the first voltage of a large value in proportional to an increase of an ambient temperature, a second temperature-voltage conversion circuit for outputting the second voltage of a small value in proportional to an increase of the ambient temperature, an inclination regulating circuit for regulating an inclination of the first voltage with respect to a temperature change of the first temperature-voltage conversion circuit to a value same to an absolute value of an inclination of the second voltage with respect to a temperature change of the second temperature-voltage conversion circuit, a reference voltage generation means for adding the second voltage to the first voltage inclination-regulated by the inclination regulating circuit to generate a reference voltage independent of the temperature change by multiplying the summed-up value with a prescribed multiplication number, and an addition circuit for outputting as the third voltage a voltage found by adding the reference voltage to the first voltage.
