Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage regulator system and a method of application therefor.SOLUTION: A transformer assembly includes: a coil winding; a multi-contact tap configuration that is connected to the coil winding; and a multi-branch tap switcher system including a first tap switcher provided with a contact element which is brought into contact with a first contact of the multi-contact tap configuration in a case where a controller provides a positioning stimulation based on detecting a voltage deviation from a nominal output voltage of a voltage regulator system. The multi-branch tap switcher system further includes a second tap switcher mechanically coupled to the first tap switcher and including another contact element configured to be automatically brought into contact with a second contact of the multi-contact tap configuration in a case where the contact element of the first tap switcher is brought into contact with the first contact of the multi-contact tap configuration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
