To provide a volume reduction packing apparatus for waste plastics which can perform good bundling of waste plastics preventing a falling object from an outlet end of a conveying path from bitting in a band guide of a bundling machine.
In the volume reduction packing apparatus for waste plastics in which two or more waste plastics stored in a compressing chamber are compressed to reduce the volume to one piece compressed lump with a compressing machine and the compressed lump is pushed out to the bundling machine through the conveying path with an extrusion mechanism and it is bundled with the bundling machine using a plastic band, the bundling machine has the band guide to arrange the band so as to surround around the conveying path at the upper stream side from the outlet end of the transforming path and a mechanism to sending out the band along the band guide and to tighten the band to bundle the compressed lump and the conveying path has a band guiding means to guide a ring of the band, the diameter of which is decreased at tightening the band, from the upper stream side of the outlet end to a compressed lump abutment position at the downstream from the outlet end, at the surface area opposing to the band guide.
