PURPOSE: To obtain reduction of a number of part items and work man-hours and improvement of reliability by parallelly providing a motor housing and a silencer casing further integrally formed with an impeller casing.
CONSTITUTION: In a vortex flow blower, a casing 2, constituted by integrally connecting a blower casing 3 serving as an impeller casing, motor housing 4 and a silencer casing 5, is provided. In the casing 2, an impeller 1, tightened to a main shaft 14 with a fine gap (g) from the casing 2, and an electric motor 30, comprising a rotor 16 fitted to the main shaft 14 and a stator 17 fitted to the motor housing 4, are stored. Here, the motor housing 4 and the silencer casing 5 are parallelly provided and also integrally formed with the impeller casing 3. In this way, reduction of assembly man-hours and improvement of assembly work accuracy of the blower casing 3 are attained, motor housing 4 and the silencer casing 5.
