Abstract:

To provide a vortex flow blower reduced in noise.

A vortex flow blower comprises a casing 12 provided with an arc-shaped still flow path 20, and an impeller 14 provided with a plurality of blades 17 corresponding to the still flow path 20, wherein the casing 12 is provided with an intake flow path 21 communicated with one end part of the still flow path 20, and a discharge flow path 22 communicated with the other end part. To an intake side conducting surface 25 forming one end surface of the still flow path 20 and a discharge side conducting surface 26 forming the other end surface of the still flow path 20, scattered reflection parts 30a and 30b are provided, respectively. The scattered reflection parts 30a and 30b scatter blower-related sound within the still flow path 20 to prevent the still flow path 20 from generating resonance phenomena.
