Abstract:
To enhance the fitting accuracy of a casing to an end bracket of an electric motor, and to suppress the deflection of a rotary shaft.
In a vortex flow type pump device where the rotary shaft 2 of an electric motor 1 penetrates the casing, and a shaft seal device and an impeller are fixed in this order, a casing cover is water-tightly fixed via an O-ring so as to cover the impeller, a vortex flow pumping action is performed by the rotation of the rotary shaft, and the fitting surface diameter part of the casing 70 formed of synthetic resin fitted to the end bracket of the electric motor is formed in a projected and recessed shape to be fitted to the inner periphery of the end bracket of the electric motor.
