Abstract:
To provide a vortex-type air nozzle having advantages in that mounting thereof can simply be carried out to perform artificial piecing and suitable for arrangement in various kinds of spinning frames or automatic cylinder machines.
This vortex-type air nozzle is installed in a yarn running passage between a yarn feeding device and a take-up device of the spinning frame. The nozzle is capable of making the surrounding relatively to the outside of the yarn proceed with a vortex gas by a jetting method utilizing the principle of the gas vortex and attaching fluffs on the surface of the yarn to a filament by pneumatic actions. The fluff index is then effectively reduced by ≥20% to increase the yarn strength by ≥5%.
