Abstract:

To prevent the minor's participation into a public competition by masquerading.

In a voting system 1, biometric authentication acquisition means 2c of an automatic transaction device 2 acquires user's biometric authentication information, and determination means 4c of a public competition host computer 4 refers to user information storage means 4a to determine the age corresponding to the biometric authentication information transmitted from the automatic transaction device 2. The user can thus participate in the public competition using the automatic transaction device 2 of a financial institution so as to improve the convenience of the automatic transaction device 2, expand the use of the public competition, and prevent the minor's participation in the public competition by masquerading.
