To conserve direct voting result by printing the results of voting when voters vote using voting terminals used for electronic voting and to allow the voters to directly view the printing for checking.

A printing means 29 is provided for printing voting results on a printing medium 20, as well as electronically or magnetically recorded voting results. Display means 12 and 18 are provided for displaying the printed voting results so that the voters can view the results immediately after voting. A storage means 24 is provided for storing the printing media as record materials (audit trail) for use in auditing the election.
