Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vulcanization composition used for vulcanizing elastic articles, the vulcanization composition offering elastic articles having a reduced allergen potential as compared to elastic articles formed by using a vulcanization composition not comprising one-time accelerators.SOLUTION: Provided is a vulcanization composition comprising a sulfur source, a one-time xanthogenate accelerator and a metal oxide. The composition does not contain any additional compound that acts as an accelerator for vulcanizing elastomer. Also provided are: an elastic article formed by using said vulcanization composition; a method for manufacturing a vulcanization composition having a reduced allergenicity; and a method for vulcanizing elastic articles by using the vulcanization composition.
