Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vulcanization molding method for vulcanizing and molding a rubber product having good appearance with good processability while holding various rubber characteristics without deteriorating a work environment, and the rubber product manufactured thereby.
SOLUTION: A conveyor belt 1 being the rubber product is obtained by integrally bonding nonwoven fabrics 4 comprising nylon, a polyester or the like to the upper and rear surfaces of a rubber belt 3 having reinforcing fibers 2 embedded therein under a vulcanization condition. The unit mass of each nonwoven fabric 4 is set to 10-25 g/m2 and, as a principal material of the nonwoven fabric 4, a material such as nylon, a polyester or the like with a melting point of 180°C or higher is preferably used. Further, the nonwoven fabric 4 is set so that the elongation at break thereof is 25-50% at least in a direction wherein the compression stress of the product to be used acts and the elongation thereof under 1/10 load of cutting strength is 10-20%.
