Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assisting vehicle capable of reliably climbing over a step while reducing an operational burden.SOLUTION: A walking assisting vehicle 1 for supporting a user's body and assisting walking includes front wheels 2, rear wheels 3, a front frame 4 disposed on a front wheel 2 side, a rear frame 5 disposed on a rear wheel 3 side, and a connection body 30 for connecting the front frame 4 and the rear frame 5. The front frame 4 and the rear frame 5 are configured so that an interval in the front-back direction of the front frame 4 and the rear frame 5 is expandable, and an expansion amount of the interval between the frames 4 and 5 is regulated by the connection body 30. In addition to an effect that an inclination angle of the front wheels 2 increases in floating at the time of climbing over a step, an effect that advancement of the front wheels 2 is assisted by the increase in the interval between the frames 4 and 5 is produced, thereby ensuring that the walking assisting vehicle climbs over a step reliably.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
