Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walker in which the walker is prevented from inclining to left and right, even if one of left wheels and right wheels runs onto protrusions or gets into recesses of a road surface, and thereby stable walking is assisted.SOLUTION: A walker 1 includes a base frame 2, struts 3, a left set of wheels 10, a right set of wheels 20, and a reversed interlocking mechanism 30 for making the vertical movement of one of left wheels and right wheels caused by irregularities of the road surface be reversed and interlocked to the other top and bottom reverse movement. The left set of wheels 10 are constituted of a left first rocker arm 11, a left second rocker arm 12, a left front wheel 15, a left center wheel 17 and a left rear wheel 18. The right set of wheels 20 are also constituted similarly. The left center wheel 17 and the right center wheel 27 are drive wheels driven by electric motors 16, 26. The reversed interlocking mechanism is a link type using a balance link 32 in which the horizontal direction center parts are pivotally attached around the front and rear axis lines, and the left and right ends are connected to the left and right rocker arms.
